So much of doom and gloom recently. *sigh*
With the latest development, perhaps market sentiment would once again pivot to what happened during 2018 and 2019 and nobody wants to talk about it again.
Something different on my blog for a change, maybe?
Seeing that my previous blog post on Citi Prestige was rather well received, here is a brief follow-up post on the 1-for-1 dining offers as there were curious questions regarding it.

These dining related offers for Citi Prestige typically go out every 3 or 4 months.

I mentioned previously that I’m not much of a foodie myself.
Take for instance, I can have the same boring breakfast – one egg and a cup of coffee – every single workday without seeing a need to change anything. Kopitiam food for lunch sounds fine to me too.
You, on the other hand, might find some of these offers rather enticing. I’m sure that might be the case as these regularly sell out when I bothered to check.
Here’s the list of participating restaurants in the latest newsletter –

From what I can remember, Iggy’s is a One-Michelin star restaurant so that gives an idea of what to expect.
To be clear, there isn’t any secrecy surrounding this as the same information is found on Citibank’s website.
Selling like hotcakes?!

Here is a sample menu by Gemma Steakhouse –

Just to add on, the booking engine is managed externally by Hapz.
As some of these dining deals often sell out quickly, it would be a good idea to have certain dates planned out with your partner in advance to avoid disappointment.
The usual terms and conditions apply, but the most important are –
- Offer is only valid with payment using a Citi Prestige Card and
- Bookings are non-refundable.
One point to highlight is that the list of restaurants do change from time to time and isn’t restricted to a static list.
In the previous iteration, other 1-for-1 dining deals were –
- ART
- Rhubarb
- Riveira The Restaurant
- Shang Palace
- Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro
- VUE
Guess that’s it for now!
By the way, I realized I have so many of these uncompleted draft posts that are ready to go out with minor edits. I’ll try my best to work my way through those and post more of these shorter blog posts for quick reads. TGIF!
